Archbishop Samuel J. Aquila and Auxiliary Bishop Jorge H. Rodriguez joined the Bishops of the United States in supporting the DACA program. The bishops released a statement Friday urging the Catholics of northern Colorado to support through action and prayer the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, and the 17,000 Colorado youth who would be directly affected if the program is eliminated.
